Bills/Laws

This will continue to be updated…

  • Education Equality Bills

    Tenants of Bills:

    • After much discussion it would seem the local rate for an Engineer (my current profession) would be fair for a teacher. Here in Arizona, I would put that around $80,000.00. I believe a big reason people, like myself, are not creating the next generation of critical thinkers is because we cannot live the life we want, and teach. Tying the salaries to that of a highly sought profession with the same required education, should allow our brightest to educate our youth properly.

    • School funding…I came up with a unique method to solve our school funding issues. Right now states, counties, and cities decide how they fund their public schools, and they’ve all basically come up with the same method. A method which was designed to be racist and classist. Property Taxes are communally taken, then spent not equally, but by % of property taxes paid. So, the majority of the money spent goes to one school, in some cases upwards of 90% of the total collected property taxes paid toward education are given to a single school in a county. That school has less than 6% of the overall students in the county…so 90% of the money goes to 6% of the students, and you wonder why our kids aren’t able to be educated the way others are? I propose we audit every state, county, and city down to the district level. Once we know how much is being given by the state to each school, we match the cost per child of the schools receiving the most money, and give it to the schools with the rest of the schools. For example, let’s say the wealthiest school in the state gets about $900 dollars a year per student, and the rest of the schools get much less, all the way down to the poorest school getting $20 dollars a year per student. We, the government, would step in funding those schools to make up the missing $880 dollars per student per year. This has left the State with their racist and classist choice on how to fund public schools, but given the schools the resources needed to educate our youth to the same level. This gives all children, no matter their circumstances at birth, a better chance at thriving.

    • Remove all public funding for private schools of any kind. This includes religious schools, but also charter schools.

    • Tuition Free Trade Schools and Colleges.

    • More to come once I have a meeting with the college professors I have scheduled.

  • Government Transparency Bills

    Tenants of Bills:

    • Bills must be written such that the majority of our constituents can easily understand it. Since our country has allowed our schools to be underfunded and education to not be a priority, the majority of our constituents read at or below a 6th grade level. So Laws should be written for a 6th grader or lower should be able to read them. That would be no higher than a Level 2 on the PIAAC scale. (to be clear that includes no longer using Latin) We can raise the reading difficulty of laws commensurate with Americas literacy thereafter.

    • Politicians will all be given the same resources during election seasons. Election season will take place in the last full quarter of an election year prior to that year’s election. No more money from wealthy donors, no more money from corporations, no more “dark money.” You will have about 4.5 months a year to make the public believe in you.

    • Ranked Choice Voting will be implemented moving forward. If you don’t know what Ranked Choice Voting is, I put a link on my Policies page.

    • Put into law verbiage that makes clear the “Citizens United v Fed” ruling by the Supreme Court which allows corporations and the wealthy to infinitely fund the politicians they want in office, will no longer be a loophole.

    • The legalized insider trading that the congress and senate have been allowed shall be ended immediately. There will be no more rags to riches stories in office due to, “gaming the system.” You should be a servant of the people, by the people, and for the people.

    • Constituents shall be allowed to protest their office holders day and night, but to do that they must remain in one place where they can be found while in session. Which means a “barracks” should be used. Exceptions while in session, should be for overnight hospital stays.

  • Police Accountability Bills

    Tenants of Bills:

    • First, is the removal of Qualified Immunity being assumed for police officers.

    • The addition of Mental Healthcare workers with all officers who respond to calls which do not involve deadly force.

    • We should take policing out of shoplifting entirely for large corporate businesses. -Why are our tax dollars funding the security of their merchandise. If they want their own private security, then they can pay the cost themselves. This would not remove police from helping in cases where human life is at risk due to armed robbery, assault, or active shooters.

    • We should treat traffic violations differently. Many countries (and even some states) have implemented (to varying degrees of success) traffic cameras. I would like police to stop pulling people over for traffic violations. Cameras will get the same job done, with less fear-driven accidental murders.

Opinions on why Police Reform it is so clearly needed:

We spend a staggering 2% of our GDP on the police. That’s ~430Billion dollars a year we spend on our police, and for all that money we get about 2% of our serious crimes solved. (Source Cited)

We don’t have faith in the men and women who are suppose to protect us. Not now, and arguably we never have as a society, and that needs to change.

6 times the Supreme Court has upheld that the police are not here to “Protect and Serve” they merely exist to uphold the law and do not have to put themselves in harms way to save innocent lives.

If their job isn’t to protect and serve…then do we even need them in their current form? I would argue, no.

I will continue explain and expand the plan I have for overhauling policing in America, and how we can redesign it to be what I grew up thinking it was.

  • Labor Rights Bills

    Tenants of Bills:

    — As stated earlier large Corporate Profit will be taxed at a rate of 90% (the historic rate it held for decades) This will do a couple things.

    • a) Corporations will look for more tax write offs. Traditionally those were things like:

      • 1) Employee Retirement Benefits

      • 2) Paid Time Off

      • 3) Better Medical/Dental/Life insurance policies

      • 4) Reinvesting in the company either though expansion or diversifying (which creates jobs)

      • 5) Company Parties + Holiday Bonuses

      • 6) Wage increases

    • b) While actual corporate tax payments will end up staying the near zero that they are now, employees compensation will increase while shareholders will see a decrease in dividends closer to what was seen throughout history till the 80’s.

    — Codify into Law the rights of the laborers so that if a corporation decides it is cheaper to move out of the US for cheaper labor in another country while the “owners” can leave, the government will offer a loan at 0%+inflation, for the building, and its required tooling ect. to the laborers who would then take possession of the company each owning a stake in the company. This process, which I will describe in the full bill will require several experts so this doesn’t devolve into the wealthy offloading shell companies.

    — As you can likely see, in tandem these 2 Bills alone will go a long way to protect the working class, while allowing for a wealthier labor class but I have more to come after this. I just need more hours in the day to get them in here.

    — Federally make “Right to Work” state laws, non-functional.

    — Anti-Union and Union Busting laws need to be fortified by Federal Law with mandatory minimum prison sentences for CEO’s and Branch Managers who use them.

    — Owners who close businesses which vote to unionize shall instead have those assets purchased by the Federal Government at below market value. It will be then given over to the new Union as a Co-Op style business. Profits from the new corporation will go partly to paying back the money spent by the Fed, and the rest should be given as profit sharing. (which will likely halt all such practices)

    — Laws prohibiting the interference of the government directly interfering in a Union negotiation on behalf of the ownership class. examples: Reagan with the Air Traffic Controllers and more recently Biden with the Rail Union.

  • LGBTQIA+ Rights Bill

    • Human Rights don’t end where bigotry begins. Does one American have the right to marriage? Then all Americans have the right to marry. Any rights afforded to one, should be given to all.

    • Reinforcement of the separation between church and state is more important now that it is once again under attack. Why people think oppression of others is their right, I don’t understand, but I wont stand for it.

    • Normalization of people’s freedom to control their own bodies. Just like in my Healthcare Overhaul, I have to put into law that what a doctor and their patient feel is best for their continued happiness, is between the doctor and that patient. We do not want or need a Politician or a Bureaucrat coming between a Medical Professional and their Patient.

    • More on this soon…

  • Prison Overhaul Bill

A public prison is not a profit-generating entity. The end goal is to house incarcerated individuals in an attempt to rehabilitate them or remove them from the streets.

A private prison, on the other hand, is run by a corporation. That corporation’s end goal is to profit.

In order to make money as a private prison, the corporation enters into a contract with the government. This contract should state the basis for payment to the corporation. In most cases they are paid based on the number of inmates that the prison houses.

So there is no profit to be made by “Reforming” inmates.

In fact, it is more profitable for them to house as many inmates as possible, in the worst conditions possible, with the least amount of staff, and no rehabilitation.

The one goal a prison should have is to rehabilitate people so they can become functioning/contributing members of society.

Unfortunately, based on a U.S. Department of Justice study in which data from 24 states measured state reincarceration rate from 2008 through 2018, the recidivism (reincarceration) rate was 82%. So, we are kidding ourselves if we believe they are trying to help these people become functioning members of society.

    • Remove all private prisons from corporate control. (likely through eminent domain)

    • Revision of the 13th Amendment to remove its allowance to have legalized slavery for incarcerated individuals.

    • Fund a group of experts (psychologists, sociologists, teachers) to gather evidence-based prisoner reform methods used around the world to redesign our prison system from the ground up.

    • Either way, the goal moving forward should be reform for those who can be reformed, and for those who cannot be reformed…a humane prison system.

  • Native American Sovereignty Bill

All of this land was theirs once. It was taken from them by force. Their people were murdered, their children indoctrinated…When all was said and done, we gave them a miniscule amount of what was once theirs. So why, when The People do not want a pipeline on their land, does the government force it upon them?

    • This Bill would expressly disallow corporations or the government to intervein in any way unless expressly requested and watched over by the tribal counsel .

I am trying to get in contact with Native American representatives to help me write this Bill and ideas on expansion. If you are someone who can help, or know someone who could help I would much appreciate their contact information.

  • A Government For The People

    • A Politician does not belong between a person and their doctor. We should not be allowed to dictate what you do with your body. This covers all things related to what you do with your body. In short, we should codify Bodily Autonomy into our Constitution because clearly there are too many people who believe they know what is best for you and your body. I do believe we should be very open about any dangers, side effects, ect., with anything you choose to do with it, but your body is yours alone. Do with it what you choose.

    • Reparations owed, should be paid. That is both to our Native Americans and our Black brothers and sisters.

    • Reparation Ideas: as stated above under Policies. There is a group of about 44million Americans who we could tryout a UBI plan to prove it would work. $1,000 dollars a month for each person each month (this includes children). They can also take out 0% loans to start small businesses. (And after I have had my way with the Trusts breaking up all these Monopolies…I think we could see thriving small businesses again)
